Asheville, NC Deck Staining Project
This client has an older deck that had been stained with a solid color stain in the past. They liked the red color on the deck that was originally there, but wanted it freshened up and slightly darker and bolder. They also wanted to keep the deck boards a more natural color and look. We began by deep cleaning the years of dirty paws and sun damage off of the deck. We next replaced the old broken lattice with new. We color matched a specific red color with a high quality professional grade solid deck stain instead of the homeowner grade product previously on the deck. Once the solid color dried, we applied the Pecan color oil based semi-transparent stain to the horizontal surfaces. The deck turned out beautifully and the client couldn't be happier.
