Deck Staining in Hendersonville, NC

This Hendersonville deck staining client had 20 year old deck that had never been stained. Our Deck restoration team started by thoroughly cleaning the deck and then replacing an entire section of decking due to rot and bug damage. In order to stain the deck immediately afterward (instead of waiting for the new wood to dry) we used KDAT deck boards. These boards are pressure treated and then kiln dried and are ready to stain right away. Once all the decking was replaced, the client chose a beautiful "Sable" colored semi solid, oil based penetrating stain. The rich color and semi solid pigment make for an excellent way to blend new and old wood. The oil based stains that we use are very low VOC, stay completely within the wood with no surface film that can peel or flake, and prevent further drying, cracking, or checking of the wood.
